Fraser Sturgeon Fishing
Sturgeon fishing has been excellent this past week, lots of fish feeding on Ulichons ( small bait fish). We had several days where we had to reduce the number of rods we were running as fishing was just too crazy running 4 rods. Lots of nice fish in the 4 to 6 foot range in fact one day this past week we landed 12 fish over 5ft, wow what a day.
If you looking for some great fishing action, now’s the time to come out and enjoy, weathers been pretty good too.
These fish are putting up a great battle, all sturgeon are released back into the water unharmed,
This one measured 7ft 8 inches caught on Thursday of this week. girth was 40 inches.
Although the Ulichons are in the river and most of the anglers are using them for bait, dont over look Lamprey Eel as we have been doing very well and getting some of our larger fish on this bait.
