Oct 21 Fishing Update

Fraser River Update

Fishing continues to be excellent for both salmon and sturgeon, the Suncor group in from Fort Mac are having a great trip, yesterday one of the groups fishing with Vic landed a 9ft 3 inch sturgeon that measured a 49inch girth. Wow what a fat fish, estimated weight is about 400lb.

Here is another shot including tail

Sturgeon fishing is definitely on fire, most groups are hooking into big fish with quite a few fish over 7ft being landed this week. This great Sturgeon fishing should continue through until mid to late November so come join us for some of the best fishing of the year.

Gary Devison of Suncor with his two sons landed this 7ft sturgeon yesterday while fishing with Doug.

Chum and Coho fishing continues to be good, although some rivers are blown out, Harrison and Stave are still fishing well. Some Coho stacked below hwy bridge, best fishing is at incoming tide. Casting spoons and spinners has been best.

Fishing great so get out and enjoy the last 30 days of the season.
