Sept 01 Fishing update

The Fraser couldn’t have opened at a better time as the Salmon are just pouring in with each high tide. All of our boats did really well in the Mission area yesterday for both salmon and sturgeon. Our Vancouver Charters continue to produce great results so looks like we are going to have some great fishing over the next few months.

Peak fishing for salmon and sturgeon is from now through until middle of November.

Sturgeon fishing has been very good this past week, lots of fish in the 5 to 8 ft range being caught by our guides, best bait has been Pink Roe and Salmon bellies. Also getting a few fish on Lamprey eel but fresh Pink salmon is the ticket.

Salmon fishing in Vancouver continues to produce great results, our best lure has been the G-Force Trap Shack trolled behind the Highliner Flasher in Green or Purple with new UV tape. Salmon fishing at the mouth of the Fraser will continue to produce good results then we will focus on the Vancouver Harbour Chinook run that can offer some great fishing. We will also be targeting salmon on the Fraser and Harrison Rivers.

This has been our best spoon this past week 2 3/4 inch has worked the best for us.

Overall it looks like we are going to have a great month on both the river and ocean, if you are looking for a last minute charter or wanting a full vacation package, please give us a call.

Have a great week

August 29 Report

We had a great day on the water today with our friends from Grande Praire, started the morning with a double header 6 ft 6 and 7ft and ended the day with a 7ft 8 inch fatty.

A bit of a rodeo on the boat but with some luck we landed these two fish at the same time.

Nice way to end the day 7ft 8 inch to the fork.

Nice Chinook caught yesterday out in the saltwater near Vancouver

We still have some boats available for the weekend if your looking to get out. Both salmon and sturgeon fishing is very good so great time to book a trip. We still have some great dates available for September and October.

Have a great weekend.
