Fishing in the Valley is really starting to pick up, each and every day more salmon are entering the Fraser River headed up to tributary rivers like Vedder, Stave, Chehalis and Harrison. Although the Fraser is closed to salmon fishing, these rivers I listed are not closed and offer some great action on spinning, float fishing or fly fishing. It’s been and busy summer year out on the Fraser River, some incredible fishing for sturgeon throughout the river from Mission all the way up to the Canyon. Salmon season has begun on local tributaries, the Pink Salmon are coming to an end but the Coho, Chinook and Chum salmon are just getting started.
