STS Guiding Service has been providing quality fishing charters and vacations since 1994, established by Vic and Teresa Carrao, STS has evolved from a single guide and boat to a team of some of the most skilled, talented and dedicated fishing guides in the Fraser Valley. Year round we carry a Team of angling guides include 4 full time & 4 part time guides who specializing in Sturgeon, Salmon and Fly Fishing. During peak seasons we call upon our associate guides for help and carry as many as 15 full and part time angling guides.

Our 2012 Tours start up on April 29, The water should be big & wet with some incredible canyon scenery. Below I have posted our first set of dates, please book early if you want to join me in the Fraser Canyon.

We are currently selling seats for:
April 29, May 6, 12, June 3, August 4,5, 12, 18 & 19

  • Cost – $109 + $10 Transport Fee
  • Trip distance – 100km round trip
  • Meeting Location – Hope to Hells Gate
  • Length – 4 hours

2012 Victoria Boat Show & BC Boat & Sportsman Show

STS will be at the Victoria Boat Show for the first time next weekend, Feb 17,18,19, drop by and say hello. Our booth will be beside Berkley/Fenwick and Island Outfitters so if I am not in my booth look for me at one of these booths selling fishing products.

BC Boat & Sportsman Show is only a few weeks away. This is the largest fishing/hunting show in BC taking place at the Tradex center in Abbotsford. We have 10 – 2 for 1 tickets to give away and 5 VIP passes. As always, the first e-mails I receive requesting these tickets will be the lucky winners. Don’t forget to drop by and say hello, STS Guides will be at our booth all weekend to answer your questions.

Our good friends at Hells Canyon Marine will be down again showing off their amazing boats, drop by their booth and check out their crazy video’s running whitewater on the Snake and Salmon Rivers.

Feb 13 update.

Steelhead fishing continues to improve, Thomas has been out all week and wow, what results. Below is a few pics from Dale and Thomas. We are still offering one on one and small group instructional guide trips on the Vedder, next weekend we still have Sunday available.

This wild buck was released, one of 5 fish landed this day. Nice work Thomas.

Hey everyone, thanks for the response on the fishing gear. Everything is gone except for some medium weight spinning reels and 9’ medium weight rods.

Vancouver Boat Show was a success, we spent 5 days in Vancouver working this show, some great new products out by Humminbird and Cannon, saw some beautiful boats on the show floor, almost pulled the trigger on a new Ocean boat. Speaking of ocean boats, I am selling my Grady White if anyone is interested, call me for details.
