November Fishing and Update

November fishing has been nothing short of amazing. I’m always mistified as why the month of November is so hard to convince people to come fish as it really is some of the best fishing of the year. I guess back in the day when we ran open boats, fishing in November could be a challenge and i get why people would be scared to book a trip in November but now a days we are running $100,000 jet boats with beautiful interiors, covered roof and every boat of ours has a diesel heater. Not too mention with global weather trends on the warming side, November can be quite pleasant and no crowds on the water. If you ask me, November is a perfect time to fish, infact it’s my favorite month.

GET THE Fly Rods out, November and December is a great time to get the fly rods out and hit our local waters. Our choice is the Harrison River as not only is the sturgeon fishing amazing, there is still some great salmon fishing to be had. Our guides know the Harrison better than anyone so , still time to get out and catch that fish of a lifetime. If it’s too short notice for you to visit this November, I would highly recommend considering booking for November 2026, you won’t be disapointed.

Did you know that we have a collection of fly patterns on our website for fly tiers. We have salmon, trout andf steelhead patterns for BC, checkout http://www.guidebc.com/fly-patterns

Over the next few months we will be reaching out to some of our favorite past clients to get you booked in early. We turned away too many trips in 2025 due to last minute bookings. Our team is not as large as it once was so finding dates that match can be challenging. The earlier we get you booked in, the better chance you have to get your preffered dates.

Jet Boat Tours for Christmas Staff Parties

If your looking for a unique place to hold a small Staff Christmas Party, one of our 28ft twin engine boats is the place to do it. We can take up to 10 people per boat and do either a 2 hour boat criuse on the Harrison River to view the Eagle migration or a shorten day guide trip fishing for monster sturgeon. We can provide a catered lunch and customize trip that fits your needs.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards

Fathers Day is coming soon, lets go Fishing

There is not better way to honor and thank your Father for everything he does than spending the day with him. If he loves fishing, it’s a great time to take him out. If he doesn’t like fishing, well take him on a jet boat tour on the Harrison River or how about a private Kayak Tour on Harrison Lake?

Sturgeon Fishing has fast become one of the favorite things to do while visiting the lower mainland. These fish offer spectacular battles with jumps and reel spooling runs that get your heart beating. If you have never hooked into one of these prehistoric monsters, give us a call.
